Volume Of Transactions Muamalat DIN Reaches IDR 3.7 Trillion During Ramadan And Eid Al-Fitr

"This value grew 32.5 percent compared to the same period the previous year," said Bank Muamalat Head of Digital Banking & Marketing Communication, Dadang Rohandi in an official statement, Wednesday, April 16.

Dadang said the mobile banking application, Muamalat DIN, continues to provide convenience to customers in financial transactions. This is reflected in the number and volume of transactions of Muamalat DIN which grew double digits during the Ramadan period and the Eid Al-Fitr holiday.

"During this year's Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr holidays, the number of transactions of Muamalat DIN reached 3.2 million transactions. This number shot up 37.1 percent compared to the Ramadan period and the Eid al-Fitr holiday last year," he said.

Dadang added that transfers using BI-Fast, book transfers, and payments using QRIS are the top three transactions in Muamalat DIN during Ramadan and the 2025 Eid Al-Fitr holiday.

"We continue to develop and add features to Muamalat DIN so that it is always relevant to customer financial transaction needs," said Dadang.

To facilitate customers to pay zakat during Ramadan, in the DIN Muamalat feature is available for the Amal Hijrah feature. In this feature, customers can pay zakat fitrah, zakat mall, fidiah, and other donations.

In addition, the first bank of pure sharia in the country facilitates the payment of various transportation tickets such as payments for airlines, trains, and Ferizy. Muamalat DIN also provides features for paying utilities and online shopping bills.

In addition to Muamalat DIN, this pioneer of Islamic banks in Indonesia also facilitates customer transactions with various other digital services such as ATM machines, internet banking, and the Madina cash management system.
