OIKN Head Basuki Hadimuljono: Phase II Development Of IKN Has Been Started

JAKARTA - Head of the Capital Archipelago Authority (OIKN) Basuki Hadimuljono said that the construction of Phase II IKN for the period 2025-2029 had begun, in an effort to realize the City of the Archipelago as the capital of politics.

"Currently, the IKN Phase II construction process is starting. For the auction process, handover, and the implementation of the next work will be carried out soon," said Basuki through the release of OIKN Public Relations received in Samarinda, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, April 16.

Dalam pembangunan periode 2025-2029 ini telah dialokasikan anggaran dari APBN sebesar Rp48,8 triliun dengan target menyelesaikan complex legislatif, judiktif, ekosistem pendukung, dan untuk membuka akses menuju IKN wilayah rencana (WP) 2.

A large budget will also be used to maintain and manage the infrastructure and facilities in IKN that have been completed, because maintenance is also important to keep assets in good condition.

In addition to the allocation of IDR 48.8 trillion, OIKN also has a program with a budget financed through the cooperation of the government and business entities (KPBU), the value reaches IDR 60.93 trillion, including that it will be used to build 97 apartment towers and 129 more landed houses.

Then for the six PPP projects for road construction and multi utility tunnels (MUT) along 138.6 km in the Central Government Core Area (KIPP) which has only been carried out in part, there is also one KPBU project for solar power plants (PLTS).

In the sustainability of IKN development, Tuesday (15/4) yesterday, his party also held a Coordination and Evaluation Meeting for the Implementation of Infrastructure Development with the Ministry of Public Works (PU), the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP), consultants, and construction service providers.

This meeting took place in the Multipurpose Room of the Office of the Coordinating Ministry for 3 KIPP Nusantara, with the aim of increasing synergy and strengthening coordination between stakeholders, including evaluating all infrastructure work packages that have been completed, are currently underway, and are starting soon.

He emphasized the importance of maintaining the spirit of development in the midst of the dynamics of national policy, so that his party continues to revive the strong spirit for all relevant parties for infrastructure development in IKN.
