JAKARTA - PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional (KPI) ensures that the refinery will continue to operate throughout the Eid al-Fitr holiday in 2025. Just so you know, during this year's Ramadan & Eid al-Fitr (RAFI) period, KPI has also formed a Task Force (Satgas) for RAFI 2025 starting from the head office to the refinery operations unit on duty from March 17 to April 13, 2025.

"All refinery units managed by KPI will certainly continue to operate according to the set target. KPI will carry out strict supervision to ensure the production of the 3 main fuels needed by the community, namely gasoline, gasoil and avtur," said KPI Corporate Secretary Hermansyah Y Nasroen, Thursday, March 27.

Hermansyah explained that as a chain of energy security supply in Indonesia, the refinery is tasked with processing crude oil into fuel and non-fuel products.

"KPI's job is to ensure that the refinery can operate and produce fuel and non-fuel products according to what has been planned. KPI has 6 refineries and each refinery forms a task force tasked with overseeing production as planned for each refinery," explained Hermansyah.

To deal with the RAFI period, KPI ensures that the refinery continues to make various preparations. In addition to ensuring the application of aspects of Health Safety Security & Environment (HSSE), preparations start from ensuring the availability of raw materials for crude oil, human resource arrangements that will continue to operate refineries, fast moving materials, coordination with commercial & trading sub-holding and other stakeholders, and ensuring that fuel & Non-fuel products produced from refineries can be received at handover points.

"To ensure this, KPI has been supported by a real-time reporting system. The Task Force team continues to monitor the reliability of each refinery, accompanied by the implementation of fast, measurable and documented mitigation measures," said Hermansyah.

Hermansyah also hopes for support from stakeholders so that KPI can continue to operate safely and reliably.

"We certainly also need support from all stakeholders so that refinery operations continue to run safely and smoothly. KPI as part of Pertamina will be ready to maintain energy supply during this year's RAFI period," concluded Hermansyah.
