Program 3 Million Houses, Bank Tanah Supports Land Provision At Low Prices For Developers

JAKARTA - The Land Bank Agency supports the provision of affordable and quality houses for the community through the provision of land at low prices for developers in order to support the 3 Million Houses Program.

"We provide land at a low price, so it is hoped that investors and housing developers will not take too much profit," said Head of the Tanah Bank Agency, Parman Natamatmadja in Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, March 26.

According to him, a number of challenges in providing affordable and quality housing for the community are the issue of land acquisition and land prices that do not settle.

In this case, Bank Tanah must provide land in a clean and clear condition, and if there are any demands in the future, what is demanded is not a housing developer but a Land Bank.

"So we provide legal certainty to developers," said Parman.

Currently, Bank Tanah is working with Perumnas in providing affordable and quality housing for people in Brebes and Kendal, Central Java.

Bank Tanah has also invited several developers in accordance with the criteria from the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP), and with land prices that have been lowered by Bank Tanah, it is hoped that developers can also contribute to lowering house prices.

For information, the Land Bank Agency has prepared land for the development of national housing, including the program of three million houses for Low-Income Communities (MBR), which is designated as a national strategic project (PSN).

The land offered to developers is four land locations for land management rights (HPL) of the Land Bank Agency, including Tanjung Pinang City, Riau Islands Province (Kepri) with an area of 3.36 hectares.

Then in West Java Province (West Java), namely in Purwakarta Regency with an area of 19.4 hectares and West Bandung Regency with an area of 23.17 hectares, and in Batu Bara Regency, North Sumatra Province (North Sumatra) with an area of 27.27 hectares.

The HPL land of the Land Bank Agency offered to investors who develop housing for MBR is in a spatial manner for housing and settlements.

Through the Land Bank Agency, low-income houses (MBR) that will be built at a more affordable price, and according to the direction of the head of state, subsidized housing development must pay attention to the quality so as not to harm the people.
