Minister Of Transportation Dudy Asks Private Companies To Pay THR Before D-10 Lebaran

JAKARTA - Transportation Minister Dudy Purwagandhi appealed to private entrepreneurs to accelerate the payment of holiday allowances (THR) no later than D-10 before Eid Al-Fitr 2025.

Dudy said this faster THR payment will help workers manage the budget for homecoming trips and reduce the potential for traffic density, so as to facilitate the overall flow of homecoming.

"We hope that the THR payment can be made early, which is no later than D-10 before Eid al-Fitr to provide sufficient time for workers to prepare for homecoming trips and meet their needs before celebrating Eid," he said in an official statement, Friday, March 7.

According to Dudy, this policy will provide double benefits, both for workers who will celebrate Eid more calmly, as well as smooth community mobility during the homecoming season.

The government, said Dudy, appreciates the cooperation and commitment of entrepreneurs in supporting the smooth flow of homecoming and the welfare of workers.

"Hopefully with this step, we can create a safer and more comfortable Lebaran situation for the whole community," he said.

On the other hand, Dudy appreciated the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Rini Widyantini and SOE Minister Erick Thohir for issuing circulars regarding the adjustment of public services for State Civil Apparatus (ASN) and BUMN employees during the Lebaran 2025 period.

This step, continued Dudy, can give more time to unravel the density of travelers ahead of Eid al-Fitr, as well as support the smooth running of public services for the community.

"This year, Nyepi Day is close to Eid al-Fitr, namely on March 29 and 31. Our assumption is that with the SE, ASN and BUMN employees who want to go home will travel early. That way we have time to unravel the travelers," said Dudy.

At SE MenPANRB Number 2 of 2025 concerning Adjustments for the Implementation of ASN Official Tasks at Government Agencies and the Implementation of Public Services during the National Holiday and Joint Leave for Nyepi Day Saka New Year 1947 and Eid Al-Fitr 1446 H, it is stated that adjustments to the implementation of official duties can be made on March 24 to 27, 2025.

On that date, ASN can carry out a combination of flexibility in carrying out official duties at the office or work from office (WFH), from home (work from home), as well as other locations or work from anywhere (WFA).

The Ministry of SOEs has also issued an Appeal for the Implementation of WFA for BUMN employees.

In his appeal, SOE Minister Erick Thohir said that WFA should be implemented before and after the holiday, starting March 24 to April 8, 2025.

Dudy said this policy is very relevant to the dynamics of the world of work that continues to grow, especially during the Lebaran season and Nyepi Day.

According to Dudy, with this flexibility, all parties will be able to maintain productivity, improve work welfare, and create a more adaptive and responsive work environment to the challenges of the times.

"Thank you for this excellent support and cooperation. Hopefully, the synergy that continues between the Ministry of Transportation, the Ministry of PAN-RB, and the Ministry of SOEs can continue to produce innovative policies that are beneficial to the state and all Indonesian people," said Dudy.
