The Director General of Strengthening the Competitiveness of Marine and Fishery Products (PDSPKP) KKP Budi Sulistiyo said that the condition of fish stocks in 250 cold storage throughout Indonesia was recorded at 20,996 tons and is predicted to increase in March to 42,271 tons or before the D-3 Eid Al-Fitr.

Budi detailed that the main commodities dominated in cold storage are Cakalang with 6,512 tons, Tuna 5,801 tons, Layang 1,112 tons, Shrimp 1,041 tons and Tongkol 999 tons.

On the other hand, Budi also detailed the price of the cultivation fish commodity including Shrimp Rp. 100,000 per kg, Bandeng Rp. 25,000 per kg, Gurame Rp. 30,000 per kg and Nila Rp. 29,000 per kg.

"Overall, prices ahead of Lebaran remain affordable and stable," he concluded.
