JAKARTA - The Minister of Manpower, Yassierli revealed that former employees of PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk (SRIL) or Sritex will still receive holiday allowances (THR) even though they have been laid off on March 1, 2025.
"In a coordination meeting held by the Coordinating Minister for the Economy a few days ago, the curator committed to paying THR and severance pay," Yassierli told the media crew at the Ministry of Manpower Building, Wednesday, March 5.
Yassierli ensured that his party would continue to oversee the rights of former Sritex workers such as the disbursement of Old Age Security (JHT), Job Loss Guarantee (JKP) to THR.
"We will focus on overseeing the disbursement of JKP and JHT. We think workers who have been laid off are needed," he added.
Yassierli said President Prabowo was committed to protecting workers who were laid off through PP Number 6 of 2025 regarding increasing the benefits of JKP to 60 percent from the last wage for 6 months.
"We are also coordinating with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan in Solo and also the Manpower Service. This is our focus," he continued.
