JAKARTA - The Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) said that there were at least five companies that signed the cooperation or PKS as a further form of the commitment to invest in the development of the State Capital (IKN) Nusantara.
OIKN Deputy for Funding and Investment Agung Wicaksono emphasized that the initial investment commitment of the 5 companies would reach IDR 1.25 trillion.
"And this morning we will witness five more business actors who will sign a land utilization cooperation agreement. Five state-owned companies with an estimated investment value committed in this first stage are IDR 1.25 trillion," Agung said in the PPP IKN Market Sounding agenda at the PU Ministry Auditorium, Jakarta, Monday, February 24.
The five companies include Balikpapan ReadyMix Nusantara, PT Berkah Bersinar Abadi, PT Berantas Abipraya, PT Puri Persada Lampung and Surabaya State University.
Agung membocorkan, investasi dari lima perusahaan itu bakal mendukung pembangunan kawasan mixed development mulai dari hotel, area perangkalan dan juga universitas.
"So it is hoped that the urban ecosystem in IKN has begun to materialize, this will be able to develop even further," said Agung.
He emphasized that the investment commitment would complement the urban ecosystem in IKN, especially KIPP, which is targeted to start operating into a political city in 2028.
"This is a form of infrastructure in IKN that continues to run, even more advanced and KIPP 1B and 1C will also start infrastructure development this year as well as the same between infrastructure built by the government and investors," he said.

According to Agung, his party will implement the construction of the five business actors in the near future.
"Regarding the commitment to start development that was previously planned at PKS, we plan to carry out no later than 18 months after the signing because at that time of course there was still a lot of development that needed to be done," he said.
"But, at this PKS we agreed to commit to start construction in 2025," he continued.
