Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati will issue debt financing sourced from residential Government Securities (SBN) to support the program of three million houses for low-income people (MBR) launched by President Prabowo Subianto.

"Today we also discussed improving our ability to support this MBR with the issuance of housing securities which will later be allocated, especially in this MBR financing," he said at a press conference, Thursday, February 20.
Sri Mulyani said that this mechanism is a modification of the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) which will increase its volume.
According to him, in achieving several programs, especially in the housing sector, namely the construction of three million houses by strengthening cooperation between fiscal and monetary instruments.
"If from fiscal itself to housing, there are quite a lot of instruments that we are already supporting and will continue to be supported," he explained.
Sri Mulyani said that one of them was through the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP), which was sourced from APBN funds with low interest rates channeled through Tapera and banks.
In addition, Sri Mulyani conveyed that the government also provided State Equity Participation (PMN) to PT SMF, whose funds were combined with funds from banks.
