JAKARTA - The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) destroyed 63 predatory fish at an ornamental fish shop in Kramat Jati, East Jakarta.

This activity has also clearly been banned in the Fisheries Law and Regulation of the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (PermenKP) Number 19 of 2020 concerning Prohibition of Income, Empowerment, Circulation and Expenditures of Dangerous Fish Types and/or Harmful to the Inside and From the State Fisheries Management Area of the Republic of Indonesia.
Meanwhile, Director of Fishery Resources Supervision Halid K. Jusuf said, the Fishery Supervisory Team of the PSDP Directorate, Jakarta PSDKP Base and the DKI Jakarta Provincial KPKP Office visited the ornamental fish shop on Thursday, February 13, and secured 63 predatory fish with a selling value of Rp68,000,000.
