JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir summoned the board of directors of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. One of the discussions at the meeting was related to the development of the data center business.
"Today I discussed with the Directors of Telkom Indonesia to discuss the data center business development strategy to ensure Telkom continues to innovate and adapt to the challenges of the times," Erick wrote as quoted from the official Instagram @erickthohir, Friday, February 14.
Erick said it was necessary to accelerate the modernization of digital infrastructure to support the economic growth target set by President Prabowo Subianto.
In addition, according to Erick, modernization of digital infrastructure also needs to be done so that Telkom foam competes at the global level.
"Acceleration of digital infrastructure modernization is needed to support economic growth of up to 8 percent launched by President Prabowo Subianto so that he can compete at the global level," Erick wrote again.
He said the Ministry of SOEs also continues to encourage state-owned companies to provide the best services. As well as strengthening digital sovereignty in the country.
"We at BUMN continue to encourage the best service and strengthen Indonesia's digital sovereignty," said Erick.
