JAKARTA - The Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) found that there are a number of rogue developers who provide uninhabitable houses (RTLH) for low-income people (MBR).

The Inspector General (Irjen) of the Ministry of PKP Heri Germany said that the Minister of PKP Maruarar Sirait had conducted a review of subsidized housing that was included in the FLPP category.
However, said Heri, his party found at least 14 developers in Jabodetabek who built uninhabitable housing.
"The house is not affected by its function, for example, the land is not properly compacted, so when many ceramics are installed it breaks. Then the sanitation channel, the water disposal is also imperfect and causes flooding when it rains," Heri said at a press conference in Jakarta, Thursday, February 13.
He added that a number of these developers also did not pay attention to building structures because they were easily fragile or cracked walls.
Therefore, Heri as Inspector General who has the authority to supervise developers will take firm steps.
"Today I have written a letter to the Indonesian Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) to conduct an audit with a certain purpose," he said.
If a violation and state loss is found, Heri emphasized that his party will submit the case to law enforcement officials.
This was done in order to provide a sense of justice for the people of MBR when they owned subsidized houses from the government.
"If we allow it, it will continue to be like this (the naughty developer). Apart from society, the state continues to be harmed," he explained.
