DGT Combining Old Systems And Collisions In Tax Management

JAKARTA - Director General of Taxes (Directorate General of Taxes) of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) Suryo Utomo stated that his party will also re-implement the old tax system such as Online DGT, Desktop E-Faktur, and others. However, the implementation of the beliax will still run.

"So what is deemed necessary later is that we use the old system. So the rolling out of the doodle is still running, then we find something that should return to the old system we run. Like yesterday we used the tax invoice desktop to issue tax invoices, even though the time for issuing tax invoices in the scribblex was still not enough. The issuance is still not enough. Alhamdulillah, it's running now," he told the media crew, Monday, February 10.

"For example, VAT. Yesterday we tried a massive one that was big first, the number of taxpayers and so on. Now, in principle, the beliax is already running, we just give what is called flexibility," he added.

Suryo said that currently, his party will draw up mitigation steps that will be implemented, and it is planned that periodic evaluations will be carried out to be reported to Commission XI.

"We are compiling it, we will see about it, what kind of mitigation we will do. God willing, we will see. Later we will evaluate it, we will also report it with Commission XI, we conveyed the agreement on a regular basis, we will update the progress," he said.

"So SPT 2024 wants to just fix it, right, including what will be conveyed in March and April. We are still managing the SPT, PPHOP and Agency using the existing system," he said.

However, Suryo conveyed that the SPT for 2025, which was reported in 2026, will use doodles. Meanwhile, for SPT in January and February, which involves 12 percent VAT and 21 VAT cuts, will use a new system. Thus, both systems will run simultaneously for a while.

"But for the new SPT in 2025 which will be submitted in 2026 using beliax. Now, for the SPT-SPT period in January, February related to VAT, PPH cuts of 21 employees, we use a new system. So we use two systems, so that goes on, friends. Galitax continues," he said.
