Minister Trenggono Admits He Was Invaded By Netizens About The Tangerang Sea Pagar Case: I Was Accused Of Being A Betrayer

JAKARTA - The case of a sea fence in the waters of Tangerang Regency, Banten, along 30.16 kilometers has attracted a lot of attention.

In fact, this case has shocked the virtual world to the real world.

A number of parties intervened in handling the case, both from the local government to the central government.

The case apparently also dragged the name of the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KP) Sakti Wahyu Trenggono.

Trenggono admitted that he was attacked by netizens as if he had published the HGB.

"As soon as it was announced that HGB was announced, I was attacked by netizens as if I was the one who published it," Trenggono was quoted as saying on Akbar Faizal Uncensored's YouTube channel, Monday, February 10.

Then, Trenggono explained that his authority was to seal it and not to issue HGB.

"Well, no, no. In fact, it was me, the first person to seal it. The presence of the government was there to control what was wrong," he said.

"In fact, I was accused of being a traitor. This is it, that's it," he continued.

In the moment of his conversation with Akbar Faizal, Trenggono wanted to straighten himself out as Minister of KP had the authority to curb buildings in the sea space.

"I think it's also strange. So, if you don't understand through this forum I want to clarify, here. Hopefully netizens can understand that the authority of the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries is to regulate buildings in the sea space," explained Trenggono.

Previously, the KKP had continued its investigation regarding the installation of a sea fence in the waters of Tangerang Regency, Banten.

Special Staff to the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KP) for Public Relations and Public Communications Doni Ismanto said, on Wednesday, February 5, there were five village heads (kades) and one village secretary (sekdes) who were questioned by the KKP.

The inspection, which was held at the head office of the Directorate General of Marine and Fishery Resources Supervision (PSDKP), was completed on the same day.

"At the examination on Wednesday, February 5, a number of people were summoned, consisting of village officials and parties suspected of being involved in managing land certificates and installing sea fences," Doni said in a written statement, Thursday, February 6.

Doni detailed that of these, six village officials were present, namely the Karang Serang Village Head, the Kronjo Village Head, the Tanjung Pasir Village Head, the Ketapang Village Head, the Lontar Village Head and the Kohod Village Secretary.

However, said Doni, Mandor M, who is suspected of being the coordinator of the sea fence installation, did not answer the call.
