Check How To Register For Free Christmas 2024 Motorcycle Transportation From The Ministry Of Transportation

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) provides a Free Motorcycle Transport (Motis) program by train during the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year holidays.

The free homecoming program using trains is prepared with a total capacity of 5,300 seats and 2,320 motorbike slots. Registration can be done online through the website motis.djka.kemenhub.go.id or can be done at the registration post appointed from December 1 to 28, 2024.

"The registration period starts from December 1 to December 28, 2024. Meanwhile, departures start on December 20 to December 29, 2024," said Director of Traffic and Train Transportation DJKA of the Ministry of Transportation Arif Anwar quoting Antara.

The available routes are Jakarta Gudang - Lempuyangan through Gudang Jakarta Station, Cirebon Prujakan Station, Purwokerto Station, Kutoarjo Station, and Lempuyangan Station (PP).

Arif said that his party had prepared eight registration stations, namely Jakarta Gudang, Tangerang, Bekasi, Depok Baru, Cirebon Prujakan, Purwokerto, Kutoarjo and Lempuyangan Stations.

Of the eight stations, travelers can hand over motorbikes at three stations for transportation, namely Tangerang, Bekasi and Depok Baru Stations. The motorbikes that are handed over by prospective travelers to the designated stations will then be facilitated by the Ministry of Transportation to be taken to the Jakarta Gudang Station, which will then be taken to the station intended by the owner.

Even so, the public can also take their vehicles directly to the Jakarta Gudang Station. All of these vehicles will be transported from the Jakarta Gudang Station, while for passengers departing from Pasar Senen Station, Jakarta.

Based on the official website motis.djka.kemenhub.go.id, to participate in this program, participants are required to meet a number of requirements.

Each participant must have documents in the form of a KTP, Family Card and SIM C, as well as a motorcycle with a maximum engine capacity of 200 cc. One motorcycle can be facilitated by purchasing two passenger tickets and one Infantry ticket (child under 3 years old).

The purchase of train tickets must match the names of registered Motis participants, while the second passenger must be listed in the participant's Family Card.

It should be noted that the ticket that has been purchased cannot be canceled, the schedule has been changed, or the name of the passenger has been changed.

For participants who have successfully registered online, THEY are required to verify to the Command Post, according to the time of verification that has been chosen when registering, to avoid automatic deletion of registration.

For participants who only register motorbikes, they are required to have/show evidence of other modes of transportation homecoming.

Then, the motorbike must be handed over two days before the departure date by showing the original registrant's ID card and registration evidence.

When motorbikes entering the delivery station or those leaving at the destination station, they will be charged parking fees by the station's official parking manager.

Motis participants are not allowed to leave helmets and rearview mirrors, and fuel must be vacated at the time of handover.

Subsequent provisions, train ticket booking codes will be given during the delivery of motorbikes. And it should be noted that participants are prohibited from giving tips to Motis 2024 officers and must comply with all applicable regulations.

With these designed requirements, the Ministry of Transportation hopes that the Motis 2024 program can run smoothly and provide convenience for people who want to return to their hometown without worrying about carrying motorbikes during the trip.
