Train Becomes The Favorite Mode Of People's Choice In The Fun Homecoming Program With SOEs

JAKARTA - President Director of PT Jasa Raharja (Persero), Rivan A. Purwantono said, trains are the favorite mode of public-choice transportation in the free homecoming program with SOEs this year.

As is known, the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) has again held a free homecoming program with the theme 'pleasant homecoming with SOEs' in order to welcome Eid Al-Fitr 2024.

This program involves 84 state-owned companies and subsidiaries by providing quotas of 80,215 travelers.

"To verify today from 88 SOEs, 21,623 buses have been completed. Then, the trains are full. The ships of 7,000 (the quota provided) are only 561, this is still there (the quota) and only about 30 percent of buses are registered," he said at a press conference at the Ministry of SOEs, Jakarta, Wednesday, March 27.

Rivan said the number would increase again, considering that currently re-verification of prospective travelers is still ongoing. Some of them are still in line for verification.

Reporting from Instagram @pt_jasaraharja, the verification period for prospective travelers and taking homecoming attributes will take place from March 25 to March 28. During this verification, prospective travelers must show SMS or Whatsapp from Jasa Raharja, bring their original KTP, Karti Keluarga, and e-tickets that can be downloaded at homecoming.jasaraharja.co.id.

"This means that this is still the activation period. So the train has run out. So this is still going on until tomorrow, the verification period," he said.

This means that online they have 100 percent verification. Later in the verification, there is still a waiting list whether it is later verified, we will blast again," he continued.

Previously, the President Director of PT Jasa Raharja (Persero), Rivan A. Purwantono said that this year there was an increase in the number of SOEs participating in the program with the theme Fun Homecoming with SOEs 2024 from 82 to 84 companies.

Rivan said that the registrant of the homecoming program had been open since March 4, 2024. He said, registration was also carried out one door through the system built by Jasa Raharja.

"This program is one unit. 84 SOEs do not run alone. Everything is one," he said at a press conference at the Jasa Raharja Headquarters, South Jakarta, Tuesday, March 5.

Furthermore, Rivan said, from the prepared quota of 80,215, it will be divided into several modes of transportation. Starting from trains, buses to ships.

In detail, there are 1.225 buses that will carry 55,607 travelers. Then, 60 train fleets with a quota of 18,998 travelers.

Then, 15 fleets of ships with a quota of 5,610 travelers.

"Bus and train are the most in demand. The fastest train runs out because this train has small occupancy, not so much prepared. We can only get 60 trains," he explained.
