Good News From Bandung's Husein Sastranegara Airport, PCR Test Price Dropped To Rp275 Thousand

JAKARTA - Bandung's Husein Sastranegara Airport has lowered the price of the COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test from Rp495,000 to Rp275 thousand, according to the Ministry of Health's direction on the maximum tariff limit for PCR examinations.

Executive General Manager of Husein Sastranegara International Airport R Iwan Winaya Mahdar said that now the results of the PCR test at Husein Airport can come out faster. From what initially took 24 hours to as long as three hours.

"Since October 28, 2021, it has adjusted to government regulations, which is Rp275,000 per person for the test," said Iwan in Bandung, West Java, quoted from Antara, Monday, November 1.

However, according to him, the PCR Lab mobile bus has just arrived at Husein Sastranegara International Airport from Soekarno Hatta International Airport. So that the implementation of the faster PCR test can be used no later than Wednesday, November 3.

Therefore, Iwan asked prospective passengers from Husein Airport to arrive earlier, especially for those who did not have the PCR test results.

According to him, the rapid PCR test was implemented as an effort to provide additional services to air transportation service users.

In addition, he also hopes that the decrease in the price of the PCR test can again increase public interest in using air transportation services.

"The hope is to improve services for the public using air transportation, especially at Husein Sastranegara International Airport," he said.
