JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri Tbk said that the company is currently supporting business development in the port sector by providing facilities for loading and unloading companies (PBM).

Bank Mandiri Regional Office 3 RCEO Ali Usman said that this was realized by introducing a digital transaction service for the wholesale segment titled Kopra by Mandiri to 419 PBMs.

"What we provide is to facilitate information activities and financial transactions for the business ecosystem of business actors in the wholesale segment and their value chain from upstream to downstream," he said in a press statement, Wednesday, October 27.

According to Ali, Kopra by Mandiri is equipped with three service variants, namely Kopra Portal, Kopra Host to Host, and Kopra Partnership which are tailored to the needs of wholesale customers.

"This will complement the existing digital transaction solution," he said.

In detail, Ali explained that Mandiri Auto Collection H2H is a service that helps PBMs in making payments to Port Operators through automatic transfer of funds according to bills.

Meanwhile, the Mandiri Debit Port Community Card can make it easier to pay for port services with a special debit card that can only be used in the port area and has a special transaction limit.

Meanwhile, Mandiri Port Value Chain Financing is a financing facility for port service users or Port Operator vendors.

For information, as of the end of August 2021, Bank Mandiri's wholesale channel transactions were recorded at 123 million transactions with a transaction value of Rp6,449 trillion.

"Through increasingly complete digital solutions, we hope to always meet customer needs and support the creation of a cashless society, especially in the port sector," Ali concluded.
