JAKARTA - AEON Mall Southgate Residence, located on TB Simatupang Street, South Jakarta, will have a soft opening in November 2021. National Commercial CEO Sinar Mas Land Hongky J. Nantung said the mall is the fourth shopping center in Indonesia which is managed directly by the developer and operator of the largest shopping center from Japan, AEON Mall.

"The Sakura country-style shopping center will be equipped with supermarkets, shops, as well as food court and restaurant facilities. The mall's operations will follow the implementation of health protocols as recommended by the government", he said in a press release, quoted Friday, October 22.

AEON Mall will be integrated directly with all Southgate Residence apartment towers so that the presence of the shopping center will provide additional facilities for residents. This project was developed as a superblock on an area of 5.4 hectares on the side of TB Simatupang Street, South Jakarta.

Southgate Residence consists of four buildings including 3 buildings that function as apartments and 1 building for integrated offices. According to him, AEON Mall Southgate Residence will provide added value for its residents.

The presence of malls in this area can also provide benefits to the surrounding community, namely the availability of new jobs.

Hongky said Southgate Residence has three apartment towers, namely Elegance, Prime, and Altuera. Tower Elegance has begun handing over to consumers in September 2021.
