MEDAN - Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Menko Marves) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan accompanied by North Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General RZ Panca Putra Simanjuntak harvested potatoes in Ria-ria Village, Pollung District, Humbang Hasundutan (Humbahas) Regency, North Sumatra.

The Head of Public Relations of the North Sumatra Police, Kombes Hadi Wahyudi, said the working visit of Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan and his entourage to Humbahas Regency to review the development of Food Estate agriculture and preparations for the visit of Indonesian President Joko Widodo planned in December 2021 to Food Estate Agriculture.

Kombes Hadi said the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries also visited the location of drip irrigation for garlic planting by PT Parna Raya, reviewed the development of the Food Estate in Pollung District, followed the potato harvest provided by PT Indofood, and held a dialogue with farmers.

"After reviewing the location of the Food Estate, the Marves Minister's entourage then continued their visit to the Herbal Garden Location in Aek Nauli I Village, Pollung District, Humbahas Regency," Hadi said as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, September 1.

Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Pandjaitan and his entourage landed by helicopter at Simaronsang Stadium, Dolok Sanggul District, and were greeted by North Sumatra Governor Edy Rahmayadi, North Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General RZ Panca Putra Simanjuntak, and Kasdam I/BB Brigadier General Didied Pramudito.
