Alfamidi Owned By Conglomerate Djoko Susanto Earns Revenue Of IDR 6.48 Trillion And Profit Of IDR 130 Billion In Semester I 2021

JAKARTA - PT Midi Utama Indonesia Tbk (MIDI) posted a positive performance in the first six months of this year. The income and profit of the Alfamidi retail outlet manager is able to grow in the first semester of 2021.

In Midi Utama's financial report published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website, quoted Tuesday, August 31, the company owned by conglomerate Djoko Susanto posted a 26.33 percent increase in net profit from Rp103.19 billion in the first six months of 2020 to Rp130. 36 billion in the first semester of 2021.

The net profit growth was supported by Alfamidi's income which also recorded an increase of 3.86 percent from Rp6.48 trillion as of June 2020 to Rp6.73 trillion in the first semester of 2021. Alfamidi's income came from food products, where the figure rose from Rp3.78 trillion. to Rp3.91 trillion.

Meanwhile, income for fresh food increased from Rp848.87 billion in the first half of 2020 to Rp883.97 billion in the first semester of 2021. Likewise, non-food income, its contribution grew from Rp1.85 trillion to Rp1.93 trillion.

In addition, the increase in net profit was also supported by other income which was getting bigger, from Rp. 98.09 billion in June 2020 to Rp. 113.47 billion in the first semester of 2021.

Alfamidi's assets as of June 2021 reached Rp5.96 trillion, slightly higher than the asset position on December 31, 2020 which was only Rp5.92 trillion. Alfamidi's total liabilities decreased from Rp4.52 trillion in December 2020 to Rp4.49 trillion in June 2021 and total equity increased from Rp5.92 trillion to Rp5.96 trillion.
