OJK Again Receives Unqualified Opinion (WTP) From BPK Since 2013

JAKARTA - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) received an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) from the Indonesian Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) on the 2020 OJK Financial Report.

OJK Deputy Commissioner for Public Relations Anto Prabowo said that this WTP opinion was the eighth time that the authorities had received it since 2013.

"We express our highest appreciation to BPK for its support and guidance in building the system of internal control and governance since the inception of OJK until now," he said in a press statement, Wednesday, June 9.

Anto added that this achievement is very useful for continuously improving the quality of governance, improving business processes and improving effective internal control at OJK.

"A number of things have been carried out by OJK in realizing the vision of becoming a credible institution through policy improvements in various fields, including improving the integrated financial management system, building human resources, and several other systems," he said.

In addition, OJK called Anto continues to improve regulations related to financial accounting standards by cooperating with strategic partners such as the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI).

"This is part of OJK's spirit to carry out continuous improvement to meet stakeholder expectations," he added.

"We will continue to make improvements, including by accelerating the follow-up process for all recommendations submitted by BPK, as a form of OJK's commitment to maintaining governance aspects," concluded Anto.
