Budiman Sudjatmiko Challenges Indonesian Youth To Create An Innovation Company: We Fund 1 Million Dollars

JAKARTA - Chief Executive of Kiniku Bintang Raya KSO Budiman Sudjatmiko invites young Indonesians to continue to be creative in the field of technology so that they remain relevant to the current industrial development era 4.0.

Not only that, he said that his party is ready to fund technology programs that are considered to have a strategic role and have a large economic and social impact.

"If there are young Indonesians who can make sophisticated software, applications, or genetic engineering, computational engineering, or atomomic engineering, please (submit), the minimum financing is 1 million US dollars or equivalent to Rp. 14 billion," he said virtually at the Groundbreaking Algorithm Hill event. in Sukabumi, West Java on Wednesday, June 9.

Budiman added that the facility is intended to stimulate the interest of the younger generation to be directly involved in the development of technology in the country in the hope that new innovations will emerge that bring broad benefits.

"For those who want to think ahead, think cool, we have prepared funds of up to 50 million US dollars per company if they are considered to be able to bring more benefits in technology development," he said.

According to Budiman, the disbursement of these funds is considered important to encourage the creation of a research and development ecosystem in the country, which so far is considered to be quite weak.

“Our research and development is still weak, both state and private. For that, we are financing your imagination and your innovation," he asserted.

In his view, anything that seems difficult and impossible can be realized in three ways. The first is science technology. Then, the social network, and the last one is a dream team that has integrity and idealism.

"I have proven this when I fought for democracy and the last Village Law, and it worked," he explained.

Budiman considers that mastery of technology is not only about money and material things, but more importantly about pride.

“We are not looking for a price tag, but pride. We are not looking for price, but pride," he concluded.

For information, Budiman Sudjatmiko is listed as the President Director of Kiniku Nusa Kreasi, which is one of three companies that will work on the Bukit Algorithm project in Sukabumi, West Java, worth a total of 18 trillion.

In addition to Kiniku Nusa Kreasi, Bukit Algorithm covering an area of 888 hectares will also be worked on by PT Bintang Raya Lokalestari and Amarta Karya who were appointed as project implementing contractors.

Algorithm Hill itself is planned to be a center for the development of science in Indonesia with a concept like the Silicon Valley area in the United States.
