JAKARTA - PT Duraquipt Cemerlang emphasized its commitment to supporting the strengthening of the domestic manufacturing industry through increasing the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) in industrial pump products. This commitment is in line with the government's efforts to encourage the independence of the upstream oil and gas sector.

The commitment also received attention during a working visit by the Special Working Unit for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas) together with PT SUCOFINDO (Persero) to the Duraquipt production facility in Depok, West Java, Thursday, April 30, 2026. This visit aims to ensure the readiness of domestic manufacturing in meeting the operational needs of the Contractor of the Cooperative Work Contract (KKKS).

Duraquipt Cemerlang CEO, Steven Sutanto, said that the company continues to maintain international quality standards in its production process, including referring to API 610 and NFPA 20 standards. Duraquipt is also a pioneer in TKDN certification for industrial pumps, with significant achievements.

"We are pioneers in local content/TKDN for API pumps, ANSI/ASME pumps, and Fire Pumps. Our TKDN certification currently has reached a range of 40 to 50 percent," said Steven.

Furthermore, he expressed optimism about the growth of the industrial pump market, as new projects in the upstream oil and gas sector increase. In addition to meeting the needs of the oil and gas industry, Duraquipt also serves the petrochemical, fertilizer, and power generation sectors through Dura Pump's flagship products.

Meanwhile, SKK Migas Secretary Luky Agung Yusgiantoro emphasized that support for the domestic industry is a mandate in the SKK Migas Work Guidelines (PTK). He assessed that the quality of national manufacturing is now increasingly competitive at the global level.

"Domestic manufacturing is currently able to compete with foreign products, especially for industrial pumps. Duraquipt is an example of a professional company that is able to supply these needs," he said.

Luky also highlighted the importance of human resources in increasing the added value of national industrial products. He hopes that the success of Duraquipt can be an inspiration for other industrial players to participate in the upstream oil and gas supply chain.

SKK Migas emphasized that it would continue to encourage the increase in TKDN as part of the strategy to strengthen the national industry. Support from the government as well as the professionalism of industry players is considered to be the key to realizing the independence of the national energy sector.
