JAKARTA - PT Darya-Varia Laboratoria Tbk (Darya Varia), as one of the strategic partners of PT Astra Komponen Indonesia (ASKI), attended the launch of domestically produced health equipment based on digital technology which was held at the ASKI Manufacture Plant and was inaugurated directly by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Budi Gunadi Sadikin.
On this occasion, the Minister of Health not only inaugurated the launch of domestic health innovation products, but also visited ASKI production facilities, including research & development (R&D) areas, laboratories, and manufacturing lines, to see firsthand the capabilities of developing and producing domestic health equipment. This visit confirms the readiness of the national industry in presenting technology-based innovations while strengthening the independence of the Indonesian health sector.
Of the six health tools launched by ASKI, two of which are the first domestic innovation products developed collaboratively by Darya-Varia and ASKI, namely DiViLab Optima (4 in 1) and DiViLab Core (3 in 1). The presence of these two devices is a tangible manifestation of strategic synergy in presenting technology-based health solutions that support promotional and preventive efforts in Indonesia.
The DiViLab Optima (4 in 1) device is the first multifunctional health device in Indonesia that integrates blood pressure (tensiometer), blood sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid measurements in one AI and IoT-based device, thus enabling more comprehensive, connected, and sustainable health monitoring. Meanwhile, DiViLab Core (3 in 1) presents a practical solution for accurate and efficient blood sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid examinations.
Both devices are equipped with various premium features such as health trend monitoring to monitor the development of health conditions periodically, AI predictive analytics to provide data-based insights and predictions, and caregiver support that allows family members or health care workers to monitor user conditions in real-time, thus supporting more proactive and integrated health management.
Dr. Ian Kloer, President Director of Darya-Varia, said that the collaboration with ASKI reflects the commitment of his party in presenting domestic health device innovations that are not only competitive, but also relevant to the needs of the Indonesian people.
"The development of DiViLab Optima and DiViLab Core is a strategic step in providing technology-based health monitoring solutions that support national health programs, especially in increasing awareness and access to self-screening," he said in a written statement, Thursday, April 2.
Since diversifying into the health care sector, ASKI has developed more than 30 types of products with a domestic content rate (TKDN) ranging from 40-59 percent. This is in line with the increasing use of domestic health care products which continue to show a positive trend. Domestic health care products now have the capacity and reliability to compete, even with foreign products, both in terms of quality, technology, and reliability of use for health workers and the community.
As a company that continues to transform into an integrated healthcare solution provider, Darya-Varia takes a broader role in integrating pharmaceutical, technology, and data capabilities to deliver holistic health solutions. This collaboration also strengthens Darya-Varia's position as a partner of choice, not only in delivering products, but also in building capabilities, accelerating the adoption of health technology, and creating long-term value for the national health system.
In the future, Darya-Varia and ASKI will continue to expand the development of digital technology-based health device solutions to support increased access, quality, and sustainability of health services in Indonesia, in line with the national health transformation agenda.
