JAKARTA - The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) revealed that it was still handling 1,461 cases of complaints about the Eid Al-Fitr Allowance (THR) from workers and employees.

Director General of Manpower and Occupational Safety and Health Supervision, Ismail Pakaya, said that follow-up supervision of THR complaints continues.

From all the reports that were recapitulated as of March 25, 2026 at 15.00 WIB, 200 Performance Audit Report, 7 Audit Notes I, and 4 recommendations have been issued.

In addition, 1,461 cases are still in the process of being handled, while 173 cases have been declared complete.

"The data shows that the complaints that come in are continuously monitored so that they lead to the fulfillment of workers' rights. Therefore, the labor inspectorate will continue to monitor all reports until there is a concrete, measurable, and certain settlement for workers," said Ismail, quoted on Thursday, March 26.

He also asked the company to immediately fulfill its obligations without waiting for a reprimand or the arrival of labor inspectors.

According to him, compliance with paying THR on time and in accordance with the provisions is a form of corporate responsibility for workers' rights.

"Our message is clear, pay THR on time, according to the provisions, and don't wait to be scolded. Workers' rights must be protected, and the government will ensure that," continued Ismail.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Manpower (Menaker), Yassierli said, the governors were asked to immediately deploy labor inspectors to follow up on each report received through the THR Kemnaker Post and THR posts at the labor service.

According to him, the presence of the state must be truly felt when the rights of workers/workers are threatened by not being fulfilled.

"I ask the governors to immediately deploy labor inspectors to examine every report that comes in, both through the THR Kemnaker Post and the post at the labor service. The state must not allow worker complaints to pile up without certainty of resolution," said Yassierli.

Yassierli emphasized that labor supervisors at the Ministry of Manpower and the Provincial Manpower Service must move quickly to examine reports, follow up according to their authority, and ensure that companies fulfill their obligations to workers.

According to him, supervision should not stop at data collection, but must lead to real solutions.

"This step was taken because the complaints about the payment of THR 2026 are still high. Therefore, field supervision is considered necessary to be strengthened so that every report becomes an examination, correction, and settlement that gives certainty to workers," said Yassierli.
