Irwan Hidayat to Return as President Director of Sido Muncul

JAKARTA - Director of PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO), Irwan Hidayat, said he would return to serve as the company's President Director for the second time, if approved at the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) scheduled to take place on April 9, 2026.

Irwan explained that he had previously served as CEO of SIDO from December 18, 2013 to May 17, 2016. This position was then continued by Sofyan Hidayat for the period 2016-2018, before finally being replaced by David Hidayat who served from 2018 to 2026.

In the plan for the GMS, the company also scheduled a change in the composition of the board of directors. Irwan Hidayat was proposed as President Director, accompanied by a board of directors consisting of David Hidayat, Maria Reviani Hidayat, Darmadji Sidik, and Budiyanto.

Meanwhile, the position of President Commissioner is proposed to be held by Jonatha Sofjan Hidajat, with commissioners Johan Hidayat, Sigit Hartojo Hadi Santoso, Venancia Sri Indrijati W, Mohammad Adib Khumaidi, and Lindawati Gani.

Irwan said that as the most senior member of the Hidayat family, he would be the last CEO of the third generation to lead the company. He emphasized that this step was part of the leadership transition process to the next generation.

"Over the next year, we will focus on preparing SIDO as best as possible to be handed over to the next generation," said Irwan in Jakarta, Thursday, March 26.

A number of strategic steps to be carried out include preparing a better and more transparent company, carrying out procurement efficiency through the SMART monitoring system and inventory adjustment, expanding the export market, and encouraging the sale of supplement products.

In addition, the company also plans to encourage campaigns to the public to increase the culture of saving through stock investment as part of national financial education.
