PGE Area Ulubelu Builds Ulu Semong Bridge from Geothermal Production Bonus

PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) inaugurated the Ulu Semong Bridge in Ulubelu District, Tanggamus Regency, Lampung which was built through the allocation of production bonuses.

Deputy General Manager of PGE Area Ulubelu, Rizaldy, revealed that the construction of this bridge is a form of the company's commitment to supporting the acceleration of infrastructure development in the operational area, especially in Tanggamus Regency and Ulubelu District.

"PGE Ulubelu Area ensures that the utilization of production bonuses is managed transparently and accurately," said Rizaldy, quoted on Saturday, March 21.

He added that this commitment is a continuation of the company's previous real contributions, such as the Kali Kemis Road improvement project in Pekon Muaradua-Ngarip and various community empowerment programs that have been implemented to encourage the improvement of the local community's economic status.

"This concrete step is now strengthened by the construction of the Ulu Semong Bridge which connects Ulu Semong Village with Petai Kayu Village," he continued.

Furthermore, Rizaldy said that the construction of this bridge is estimated to cost more than Rp5 billion, sourced from the allocation of PGE Ulubelu Area production bonuses in the previous year.

"The presence of this bridge is considered very strategic because it is the main link that facilitates community mobility and facilitates the distribution of agricultural products and the economic activities of residents," he said.
