JAKARTA - Ahead of the 2026 Lebaran long holiday, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk ensures that repair work on a number of toll road sections will be completed on March 13, 2026.

Jasa Marga President Director Rivan A Purwantono said that currently road repair work is still taking place at several points, including handling holes on the surface of the toll road section.

"We hope that 13 (March) will be completed. So, don't worry, later at the right time there will be no more work," said Rivan in a press conference in Bekasi, West Java, quoted Wednesday, March 11.

Rivan explained that road repairs are currently not only carried out at night, but also during the day to speed up the handling of damage.

He said the handling was based on the findings of the team in the field, including holes in the toll road that could potentially get bigger if they were not immediately repaired.

According to Rivan, a number of repair works are currently almost complete and are targeted to be completed on Friday, March 13.

"If there is a hole, it must be minor, because usually if it starts to look like this, it can add a larger hole," he explained.

The former President Director of Jasa Raharja ensured that all repair work on the three toll roads being handled would be completed according to target.

Thus, people's travel during the 2026 Lebaran homecoming period can take place more smoothly and safely.

"We will make sure that all three sections are completed on March 13 (March), so that people can travel well," he added.

Jasa Marga projects that as many as 3.5 million vehicles will leave the Jabodetabek area during the 2026 Lebaran holiday period.

This figure is estimated to be in line with the length of the Lebaran holiday this year.

Of the 3.5 million vehicles, vehicles pass through toll roads in three directions.

The presence is 28 percent of vehicles heading to Merak, 50 percent of vehicles heading to the East (Trans Java and Cikampek Utama) and 20 percent heading to Bogor.

He assessed that vehicle movement was also predicted to begin on Friday, March 13.

Because the holiday period is quite long, it gives the opportunity to return home faster.

"We estimate that the movement has started to emerge since this Friday (March 13), because of the long holiday period. This is the right time to travel," he explained.
