Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said based on data from the Manpower Social Security Agency (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan), there were 26.5 million wage earners, so the provision of THR for the private sector.

Airlangga said that companies must pay THR no later than seven days before Eid al-Fitr (H-7 Lebaran) and emphasized that there was no tolerance for gradual payment.

"For the private sector, the obligation must be paid in full, not in installments, and at the latest H-7 Lebaran," he said.

Airlangga explained that workers with a minimum working period of one year are entitled to receive THR in the amount of one month's wages, while for workers whose working period is less than one year, THR is given proportionally according to the length of work.

He also mentioned that the nominal THR received by workers can vary in each company, adjusting to the level of wages and internal policies of each.
