"The receipt of cryptocurrency taxes consists of PPh 22 of IDR 1.05 trillion and PPN DN of IDR 875.23 billion," he said.

Inge said that fintech taxes have also contributed to tax revenue of IDR 4.47 trillion as of January 2026.

He explained that the revenue from the fintech tax came from Rp446.39 billion in revenue in 2022, Rp1.11 trillion in revenue in 2023, Rp1.48 trillion in revenue in 2024, Rp1.37 trillion in revenue in 2025 and Rp61.91 billion until 2026.

According to him, the fintech tax consists of PPh 23 on loan interest received by WPDN and BUT of IDR 1.23 trillion, PPh 26 on loan interest received by WPLN of IDR 724.54 billion, and PPN DN on term deposits of IDR 2.52 trillion.
