JAKARTA - PT Bank negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI has disbursed financing for the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program worth Rp1.5 trillion.

The funding was disbursed to 577 debtors.

BNI President Director Purnama Wahju Setiawan explained that 6,560 Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi (SPPG) kitchens have been registered and connected to BNI's digital transaction system.

"Approximately 6,560 points, approximately 34 percent of the total 19,188 kitchens have been integrated with BNI direct, and with a transaction volume of Rp. 26 trillion. BNI has provided financing for 577 debtors with a total loan of Rp. 1.5 trillion," he said in a working meeting of Commission VI at the DPR RI Building, Jakarta, Monday, January 26.

For information, BNI recorded a 14.3 percent (yoy) growth in medium-sized credit segments and non-KUR SME credit increased 13.9 percent (yoy) to Rp46.3 trillion as of September 2025.
