JAKARTA - The Minister of Cooperatives (Menkop), Ferry Juliantono, inaugurated the export of coffee to Algeria by the Cooperative of Producers of Mount Luhur Berkah (GLB) in Leuwinutug Village, Cisalak, Subang Regency, West Java, on Saturday, January 17.
On this occasion, Ferry released 5 containers of Koperasi Gunung Luhur Berkah coffee exports with a volume of 96 tons.

As a form of support, Ferry also instructed the Rolling Fund Management Institution (LPDB) to accelerate the disbursement of capital loans to the Gunung Luhur Berkah Cooperative in order to expand export activities.
Ferry also emphasized that the cooperative's future activities could return to the production sector, the distribution sector, the industrial sector, and the credit sector. According to him, the return of the direction of the cooperative movement to these sectors is nothing but an effort to continue what is mandated in Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution.
"What we are doing today is an activity to continue the ideals and struggles of the founders of the nation, the ideals of Bung Karno, especially the ideals of Bung Hatta, and the ideals of the founders and other national figures. And we implement our constitution as best as possible," he explained.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Koperasi Produsen Gunung Luhur Berkah, Miftahudin Shaf said, his cooperative's activities are now the main driver of the Cisalak Village economy, Subang Regency. According to him, currently the Koperasi Produsen Gunung Luhur Berkah has 450 members with a managed area of 1,589 ha and involves 1,200 workers.
Miftahudin said, the Koperasi Produsen Gunung Luhur Berkah has managed to record an export volume of 964.2 tons to six countries with a transaction value of more than 4.6 million US dollars (USD) or approximately Rp77,657,200,000 in the period 2024 to 2025.
