Good News From Kalbe Farma, This Company Owned By The Boenjamin Setiawan Conglomerate Will Give Dividends Of IDR 1.3 Trillion

JAKARTA - The pharmaceutical company PT Kalbe Farma Tbk will distribute dividends of IDR 1.3 trillion to its shareholders. The plan has been approved by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) which was held on Thursday, May 27 yesterday.

"A maximum of a month after today, dividends of Rp28 per share will be distributed again," said Finance Director of PT Kalbe Farma Tbk, Bernadus Karmin Winata, in a virtual press conference of Kalbe Farma's AGM, quoted on Friday, May 28.

For information, an interim dividend of Rp. 281.3 billion or Rp. 6 per share was distributed to shareholders on December 18, 2020. Therefore, the total distribution of the final dividend of the company owned by conglomerate Boenjamin Setiawan reached Rp1.6 trillion.

The dividend distribution decision is inseparable from the company's performance throughout 2020. The issuer coded KLBF shares is still able to grow amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Profit for the year attributable to owners of the parent entity was booked at Rp2.73 trillion or an increase of 8.76 percent year on year (yoy). Meanwhile, Kalbe Farma's net income increased 2.17 percent yoy to Rp23.12 trillion.

In addition to agreeing on dividend distribution, the AGMS also approved the joining of Mulialie and Jos Iwan Atmadjaja as company directors to replace Bujung Nugroho and Djonny Hartono Tjahyadi. Thus, the composition of the board of commissioners and directors of PT Kalbe Farma Tbk becomes:
