JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI has allocated cash of IDR 19.51 trillion to maintain the smooth transaction of the community during the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 holiday period.

BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said the allocation was prepared to anticipate an increase in transaction activity during 11 days, starting from December 22, 2025 to January 1, 2026.

According to him, the readiness of this liquidity is focused on filling the ATM network and Cash Recycling Machine (CRM), as well as providing cash at branch office outlets so that cash transaction services continue to run optimally throughout the year-end holidays.

"BNI is preparing sufficient cash in the ATM network and ensuring the operational readiness of banking services during the Christmas and New Year period so that the public's needs are still well served," said Okki, Tuesday, December 23.

In addition to preparing cash, he continued, BNI also operates a number of outlets with limited services. A total of 27 outlets are operating limited on December 26, 2025, and 15 outlets on January 1, 2026, each at 10.00-12.00 local time.

During this period, the limited banking services provided include transactions for Pertamina, Bulog fuel, tax payments, as well as deposits, withdrawals, and transfers between BNI accounts with a maximum nominal of Rp. 25 million in accordance with applicable regulations.

This step is aimed at supporting the needs of people who go home or have holiday activities at the end of the year.

BNI also ensures that a number of international services continue to operate. International Remittance (ITR) services operate normally on December 25, 26, and 31, 2025, while Outward Telegraphic Remittance (OTR) services adjust to the provisions of the holiday.

According to Okki, the company is committed to maintaining the quality of services so that people's banking activities are not hampered during the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

Customers can still use BNI's extensive ATM network and various digital channels to meet their non-cash transaction needs.

"Various BNI digital channels can still be used by customers to meet the needs of non-cash transactions during the holiday period," said Okki.
