JAKARTA - The peak of flight and aircraft passenger flows ahead of Christmas 2025 at airports managed by InJourney Airports went smoothly. On the two peak days, namely December 20 to 21, 2025, passenger movements were recorded to exceed 1 million people.
On the first day of the peak flow, Saturday, December 20, 2025, a total of 3,738 flights served around 517,000 passengers. Meanwhile, on the second day, Sunday, December 21, 2025, there were 3,695 flights with a passenger count reaching 512,000 people.
InJourney Airports President Director Mohammad R. Pahlevi said the smooth flow of flights during the Christmas peak was inseparable from the solid collaboration and coordination between all stakeholders.
"Flight traffic and service to aircraft passengers at InJourney Airports are running smoothly, including during the peak flow of 20 to 21 December 2025, thanks to the support of all parties. We are grateful for the very close collaboration and coordination," said Pahlevi in an official statement, Monday, December 22.

This indicates that airport and flight operations run optimally during the peak season at the end of the year," said Pahlevi.

Based on InJourney Airports data, there are five busiest airports based on the number of aircraft passengers on December 15 to 21, 2025, namely in the first position is Soekarno-Hatta Tangerang with 1.19 million passengers.
Then, I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali with 461,000 passengers. Then, Juanda Surabaya with 288,000 passengers. Next, Sultan Hasanuddin Makassar Airport with 211,000 passengers. Finally, Kualanamu Deli Serdang with 146,000 passengers.
Pahlevi said all airports managed by InJourney Airports remained on full alert to ensure operations and services run well during the 2025/2026 Nataru period which runs from December 15, 2025 to January 5, 2026.
To ensure the readiness of the Nataru Transportation service, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) conducted a direct review of operations and services at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Monday, December 22.
AHY also conducted an inspection at Terminal 1C of Soekarno-Hatta Airport which had just been revitalized. He assessed that Terminal 1C now looks more modern.
