PLN President Director, Darmawan Prasodjo, said that the success in stabilizing the Aceh electricity system marked the return of the electricity supply for Banda Aceh to normal conditions.

"According to the instructions of President Prabowo Subianto and the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, we continue to accelerate efforts to restore electricity after the Aceh disaster. Alhamdulillah, this process can run smoothly and the Banda Aceh electricity system has now been fully recovered," he said, Thursday, December 18.

Darmawan continued, after the restoration of Banda Aceh electricity, his party continued to increase the reliability of the electricity system in the region.

"Currently, we continue to monitor the electricity supply to the community as a whole while continuing to strengthen the system so that in the future it will be more resilient and able to minimize the potential for disruption," he said.

Darmawan explained that in addition to Banda Aceh, gradually PLN continues to restore electricity supply for customers in other areas, including flood-affected locations and landslides. PLN also intensively coordinates with local governments and stakeholders to ensure optimal electricity services.

"Our personnel continue to work to accelerate recovery so that all areas in Aceh can recover completely. We are also on standby 24 hours a day in the field to respond quickly to any potential disruptions," concluded Darmawan.
