JAKARTA - Danantara Indonesia CEO Rosan Roeslani revealed the latest news regarding the development of 18 government downstream projects.

Rosan said that six of them will start to be built in early January 2026.

Rosan said that preparations for the construction of the project had been reported directly to President Prabowo Subianto.

"God willing, we will, I also reported to the President last month, but we will make it in early January, we will groundbreaking in 5 projects, yes, 6 (projects)," he said at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday, December 17.

Rosan said that one of the projects that would start construction at the beginning of the year was the Smelter Grade Alumina Refinery.

"First there is Smelter Grade, Alumina Refinery, aluminum smelter, then bioavtur refinery in Cilacap, and bio ethanol in Banyuwangi," he said.

"The project is coconut. Then there are other projects that we are looking at in Malang, NTB regarding poultry," he continued.

Furthermore, Rosan said the construction of the project would be carried out gradually starting January 2026.

"The point is that those who are ready will be gradual. January we will groundbreaking," he explained.

3. Asphalt industry in Buton, Southeast Sulawesi with an investment value of IDR 1.49 trillion.

4. Manganese Sulfate Industry in Kupang East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) with an investment value of Rp3.05 trillion.

5. Stainless Steel Slab (Nickel) Industry in the Morowali Industrial Area, Central Sulawesi with an investment value of IDR 38.4 trillion.
