Strengthen the Business Climate, Airlangga Opens a 24-Hour Complaint Channel

JAKARTA - The government through the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs launched the Debottlenecking Channel of the Government Strategic Program Acceleration Task Force (P2SP Task Force) as a tangible manifestation of commitment in creating a conducive, transparent, and responsive business climate.

This channel is designed to be an official channel for business actors in conveying the obstacles they face, as well as ensuring quick follow-up from the Government and related Ministries/Institutions (K/L).

The launch of the P2SP Task Force Debottlenecking Channel, which is an expansion of the implementation of the Working Group (Pokja) 2, is also a strategic step in strengthening the confidence of businesses and investors in the Government's commitment.

With this channel, every complaint report will be handled through an integrated mechanism, ranging from verification, analysis, to cross-K/L follow-up.

Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto said that this channel is more than just a complaint channel, the P2SP Task Force Debottlenecking Channel is a national instrument that supports the big agenda of economic growth, investment increase, and job creation.

According to him, with the website-based system connected through the Business Registration Number (NIB), business actors can monitor the progress of complaints in real time through the portal that has been prepared.

"The presence of this channel is a tangible form of the Government's presence in accompanying the business world. We want to ensure that every business player has an official channel to convey constraints, as well as get quick solutions from the Government. In that way, we hope that business and investor confidence will increase, so that it can encourage economic growth and job creation in Indonesia," he said in a press conference, Tuesday, December 16.

The complaint channel can be accessed 24 hours a day by business actors through the lapor.satgasp2sp.go.id page.

Every report that comes in will be immediately followed up by the Task Force to the level of the relevant ministries and technical institutions through a regular coordination forum held every week.

Meanwhile, the Debottlenecking Channel of the P2SP Task Force is also a symbol of strengthening coordination between K/L, with a quick response and high accountability.

Airlangga added that through a clear working mechanism, the Government is committed to being a strategic partner for the business world in creating a healthy and sustainable investment ecosystem.

"This transparent and accountable process is expected to reduce bureaucratic obstacles (debottleneck), accelerate problem resolution, and provide certainty for business actors," concluded Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Airlangga.

For information, the P2SP Task Force consists of three working groups (Pokja), namely Pokja I is tasked with accelerating the realization and implementation of the government's strategic program budget.

Pokja II plays a role in accelerating the implementation of programs and resolving various obstacles or debottlenecking.

Pokja III focuses on accelerating the completion of regulations that are the basis for the implementation of the program as well as strengthening the enforcement aspect of the law.
