Trans Jabar Toll Road Disburses Krutial Points Of Traffic Jams On The Bocimi Section During The Nataru Holiday

BOGOR - Bogor 'Ciawi' Sukabumi (Bocimi) Toll Road Manager prepares various steps to anticipate congestion that usually occurs during the 2025/2026 Christmas and New Year (Nataru) holidays, especially near the Parungkuda Toll Gate (GT).

PT Trans Jabar Tol (PT TJT) as the manager of the Bocimi Toll Road will coordinate with various parties such as the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub), the Ministry of Public Works (PU), the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT), Korlantas Polri and the local government.

TPT President Director Abdul Hakim Supriyadi said that the crucial point of congestion was not on the Bocimi Toll Road, but at the toll exit, namely GT Parungkuda and the congestion point usually occurs at the Parungkuda T-junction.

"I can convey the most crucial thing in Nataru's operation for the Bocimi Toll Road is at the exit Parung Kuda gate, precisely after exiting the toll road there is a T-junction, there is usually a traffic jam," said Hakim in a media briefing regarding the Preparation for Christmas Security in 2025 and New Year 2026 Section Ciawi Toll Road Sukabumi at the Trans Jabar Tol office, Bogor, West Java, Thursday, December 11.

This was because after the T-junction of GT Parungkuda towards Sukabumi, there was a spilled market which was the source of traffic jams, namely Cibadak Market.

"Well, the problem is not on the toll road itself, but on the national road. The national road is indeed close to several points that become the center of community activity, so it becomes the center of traffic jams," he said.

As for ways to reduce congestion near GT Parungkuda, his party will manipulate traffic by implementing situational implementation.

"Of course it will be situational in nature, if it is really crowded, the system will open and close later. Then the closure at several gates before that, so that it does not wait there to be diverted to other gates," said Hakim.

In addition, if the traffic jam at GT Parungkuda has occurred for quite a long time on the toll road, PT TJT together with Korlantas Polri will temporarily close the flow of vehicles from the arteries to the flow of vehicles from the toll road decaying.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) of the Ministry of Public Works (PU) Wilan Oktavian revealed that traffic engineering was prepared to participate in the discretion of highway patrols (PJR) and the Sukabumi Police.

"During the Nataru period, we prepared various traffic management options. Especially for the Bocimi Toll Road, the contraflow scenario was not implemented, but a traffic management would be implemented between GT Parungkuda combined with GT Cigombong to maintain smooth currents," he said.

Wilan explained that the Bocimi Toll Road did not apply contraflow because infrastructure work had not been fully completed.

"Currently, there is work on adding the B KM 4346 lane that cannot be utilized during Nataru 2025/2026, so traffic engineering must continue to prioritize safety and capacity capacity available," he explained.

Selain itu, BPJT juga akan menerapkan pembatasan kendaraan barang untuk angkutan hasil tambang, galian dan bahan bangunan yang akan berlaku 24 jam penuh mulai 19, 20, 24, 28, 29 Desember 2025 dan 4 Januari 2026.

In addition, BPJT will also impose restrictions on goods vehicles for mining, excavation, and building materials which will take effect 24 hours from 19, 20, 24, 28, 29, December 2025 and January 4, 2026.
