JAKARTA PT Bank JTrust Indonesia Tbk (J Trust Bank) held a blood donation activity entitled "Care for Thalassemia Survivors" at Sahid Sudirman Center, Jakarta.

Supported by the Blood Management Unit of RSUPN Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo, this activity was attended by around 200 participants, both employees and the general public.

President Director of J Trust Bank, Ritsuo Fukadai said that blood donation activities are part of the company's social responsibility program which is routinely held twice a year.

This activity is our commitment to make a real contribution to improving the quality of public health. Blood donation also brings health benefits to donors, most of whom are employees of J Trust Bank," he said.

In this edition, the focus is on survivors of thalassemia.

Based on data from the Ministry of Health, Indonesia is categorized as a country with a high risk of thalassemia, with around 3,000 babies born with this condition every year.
