Strengthen Collaboration Against Fraud And Scam, OJK Receives Queen Maxima's Visit

JAKARTA - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) welcomes the arrival of the United Nations Secretary-General's Special Advocate (UNSGSA) for Financial Health Ratu Maxima at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten Province, Monday, November 24.

Meanwhile, the welcoming was carried out by the Chief Executive of the Behavior Supervisory of Financial, Education, and Protection Business Actors of OJK Consumers Friderica Widyasari Dewi.

The arrival of Queen Maxima as a state guest of the Republic of Indonesia marks the start of a series of work agendas with the OJK as well as a number of Ministries and Institutions in an effort to strengthen financial health programs, increase consumer protection, and deepen collaboration in handling fraud and scams in Indonesia.

Friderica on the occasion said that the global agenda carried by Ratu Maxima was in line with OJK's national priorities in strengthening financial literacy, inclusion and financial health.

He explained that financial health is a further concept that emphasizes the ability of people to plan financial needs in a sustainable manner.

"Special decisions for financial health, this is a bit new terminology, because previously that was always echoed by financial literacy and financial inclusion," he said in his statement, quoted Tuesday, November 25.

Furthermore, Friderica said that the OJK program was in line with the global mandate brought by Queen Maxima.

"What has been done by OJK is in line with what he has done to increase public knowledge about finance and financial health to support the welfare of the community," he said.

Queen Maxima made a working visit in Indonesia on November 24-27, 2025 with the main focus of financial health. Indonesia was chosen as the second country on Queen Maxima's visit as UNSGSA's representative.

During this visit, Queen Maxima will visit several institutions and institutions as an effort to improve financial health in the community, especially Indonesia.

The joint working agenda for the OJK to be carried out includes the Fraud & Scam Focus Group Discussion, Ministerial Group Meeting, National Financial Health Event, as well as bilateral meetings between Ratu Maxima and the OJK Board of Commissioners.

He expressed his appreciation for Queen Maxima's support for various initiatives to increase the inclusion and financial health of the Indonesian people, and is ready to strengthen cooperation in encouraging a healthy, safe and sustainable financial ecosystem.
