In The DPR, The Ministry Of Public Works Calls To Build 222 MBG Kitchens Worth IDR 1.97 Trillion

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works (PU) said it would build 222 units of Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) aka Free Nutrition Food (MBG) kitchens in a number of disadvantaged, Frontier and Outermost Areas (3T).

PU Minister Dody Hanggodo said the total budget ceiling needed to realize infrastructure development reached Rp1.97 trillion.

"For the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) from BGN (National Nutrition Agency) amounting to Rp1.97 trillion to build approximately 222 SPPG, especially for 3T areas," said Dody at a Working Meeting (Raker) with Commission V DPR RI at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, November 17.

Based on the presentation material in the Working Meeting, the Ministry of Public Works received an additional budget allocation of IDR 23 trillion for the 2025 FY budget. Thus, the total ceiling of the Ministry of Public Works for the 2025 FY reached IDR 109.81 trillion from the previous IDR 86.6 trillion.

"The ceiling has increased the effective ceiling to Rp23 trillion. Thus, the total is Rp109.81 trillion," he said.

Previously, Head of BGN Dadan Hindayana said the MBG budget absorption had reached Rp35 trillion.

He said that the distribution of MBG to reach 82.9 million recipients was still short of budget of up to Rp33 trillion.

"We will need Rp14 trillion in November, in December we will need Rp19 trillion ourselves. We will definitely lack it," Dadan told reporters, written Wednesday, October 29.

Terkait dengan sertifikat laik higiene sanitasi (SLHS), Dadan bilang, sebanyak 690 unit telah memiliki sertifikat tersebut dari jumlah SPPG 13.347 unit yang sudah beroperasi.

"Sudah 690 (unit SPPG memiliki SLHS)," tuturnya.

Dadan menargetkan, seluruh dapur penyelenggara program MBG yang saat ini beroperasi bisa memiliki SLHS dalam sebulan ke depan.

"Targetnya selesai dalam satu bulan," pungkasnya.

Regarding the sanitation higiene (SLHS) certificate, Dadan said, as many as 690 units had the certificate from the number of SPPG 13,347 units that were already operating.

"There are 690 (SPPG units that have SLHS)," he said.

Dadan targets that the entire kitchen of the MBG program organizers who are currently operating can have SLHS in the next month.

"The target is to finish in one month," he concluded.
