Pertamax Turbo Consumption Soars 76 Percent, Pertamina Increases Supply With Imports

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga revealed that there was a surge in consumption of the Pertamax Turbo type of fuel throughout 2025.

The increase in fuel consumption with an octane value (RON) of 98 reached 76 percent.

"Recently, we from Pertamina Patra Niaga have experienced a significant increase, especially for Pertamax Turbo. Pertamax turbo has an increase of approximately 76 percent," said President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Mars Ega Legowo in a Hearing Meeting with Commission XII DPR RI, Monday, November 17.

With this increase, Mars said that it carried out additional supplies from both Pertamina's refineries and imported them from abroad.

"Currently Pertamina is maximally increasing the supply from both refineries and imports," he continued.

The cargo containing Pertamax Turbo is on its way to Indonesia.

He hopes that this cargo will arrive soon so that Pertamax Turbo's supply needs can be met

"This additional import will certainly take time. Currently, imported cargo is heading to Indonesia. And some places will hopefully be filled soon," he said.

Untuk informasi, hingga Oktober 2025, telah menjual bahan bakar minyak (BBM) meliputi bensin dan solar sebesar 87 juta kiloliter (KL).

"Sampai dengan Oktober 2025 volume penjualan sebanyak 87 juta kiloliter di mana 41 persen dari penjualan tersebut adalah kontribusi pendapatan dari produk-produk non-subsidi," sambung Mars Ega.

Mars menambahkan, bisnis pemasaran Pertamina tumbuh dengan baik serta pihaknya memastikan untuk terus mendorong penjualan produk-produk non-subsidi serta menerapkan digitalisasi guna melakukan monitoring dan pengawasan transaksi produk-produk subsidi.

"As of October 2025, sales volume was 87 million kiloliters, of which 41 percent of the sales contributed revenue from non-subsidized products," continued Mars Ega.

Mars added that Pertamina's marketing business grew well and ensured that it would continue to encourage sales of non-subsidized products and implement digitization to monitor and supervise transactions of subsidized products.
