JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) reported that until October 2025, it had distributed People's Business Credit (KUR) of IDR 38.11 trillion to 329,012 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) throughout Indonesia.

In terms of credit quality, Bank Mandiri's KUR portfolio is well maintained at a non-performing loan level below 1 percent.

Bank Mandiri SVP Micro Development & Banking Agent Bayu Trisno Arief Setiawan said the realization was equivalent to 92.96 percent of Bank Mandiri's KUR target in 2025 of IDR 41 trillion.

According to him, this distribution is clear evidence of the synergy between the government, banking, and the business sector in accelerating people-based economic growth.

This KUR support is not only about financing, but also about empowerment. Through wider access to capital, we want to help MSME players strengthen production capacity, expand employment opportunities, and increase competitiveness. This is a form of State Advancement Synergy that we run sustainably," said Bayu in his official statement, Tuesday, November 11.

He continued, the distribution of KUR until October 2025 was dominated by the production sector of 61.47 percent or Rp. 23.43 trillion.

As for this amount, the agricultural sector as the driving force for national food security reached Rp11.93 trillion or 31.31 percent, the production service sector absorbed 21.34 percent of Rp8.13 trillion, the manufacturing sector of 7.41 percent or Rp2.82 trillion, and the fisheries sector 1.37 percent or Rp523 billion.

Since the KUR program was launched by the government from 2008 to October 2025, the total accumulation of Bank Mandiri KUR distribution has reached Rp300.52 trillion to 3.56 million debtors throughout Indonesia.

He added that this low-interest credit has helped millions of business actors increase their business capacity and expand their market.

Bayu said that in accelerating and maintaining the quality of KUR distribution, Bank Mandiri also implemented an ecosystem-based financing approach from wholesale derivative customers who were oriented towards strengthening the leading production sector in various regions.

According to him, through a closed-loop strategy, the synergy between wholesale customers, MSME players, and business partners in one value chain is optimized to increase efficiency and business sustainability.

In addition, he conveyed that Bank Mandiri consistently serves daily transaction needs and payments for KUR debtors through Mandiri Agents (Bank Mandiri Partner Pandai Agents) spread across various business ecosystems of MSME players.

Bayu said that this program was also accompanied by education on digital financial services and literacy so that business actors could manage finances inclusively and modernly.

"With close collaboration with the government and the support of an increasingly mature digital ecosystem, we ensure that KUR can be channeled on target and have a real impact on society. Strong MSMEs will create more jobs and become the foundation for food security and national welfare," concluded Bayu.
