PTPP Accelerates Maritime Infrastructure Development Of Patimban Port Project

JAKARTA - PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP), a national construction and investment company under the auspices of Danantara Indonesia, continues to strengthen its position as the nation's mainstay national construction company by maintaining the momentum of performance growth through accelerating the construction of the Patimban Port Phase I-2 Package 6 in Subang, West Java. This National Strategic Project (PSN) worth IDR 5.48 trillion has now reached 72.89 percent progress, and is targeted to be completed faster than the contract plan.

Patimban Port will become Indonesia's main maritime logistics node with a capacity of up to 7.5 million TEUs, playing a vital role in smoothing the flow of export-imports and supporting the growth of the manufacturing industry in the West Java region. The success of PTPP in managing large-scale and complex projects confirms its reputation as an international-class national contractor capable of working on time, efficient, and high quality.

PTPP's Corporate Secretary, Joko Raharjo, emphasized that all work is carried out with high discipline on quality, work safety, and timeliness.

"We are optimistic that we can complete the Patimban Port project faster with excellent quality and the implementation of HSE according to international standards. This achievement is the result of the synergy and hard work of all teams in the field," said Joko, in his statement, Friday, November 7.

Despite facing the challenges of supplying reclamation materials due to the closure of mining permits in the Subang area, PTPP has succeeded in maintaining the sustainability of work through intensive coordination with strategic agencies and partners. In addition, the company implements a digital project management system that ensures that each stage runs efficiently, transparently, and according to the cost plan.

The performance of the Patimban project also received national and international recognition. PTPP won the RoSPA Gold Award in 2024 and 2025, and recorded Zero Accident of up to five million working hours without LTA.

"This record reflects the consistency and commitment of PTPP in maintaining quality, safety, and productivity, as well as being clear evidence that Indonesia's national construction company is able to present world-class construction works," concluded Joko.
