Minister Of Public Works Regarding The IKN Toll Project Can Be Completed In 2025: The Latest In 2027

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works (PU) admits that the construction of the toll road project in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) cannot be completed in 2025.

This is because there are still many projects currently underway at IKN, so the target for completion this year is not possible.

PU Minister Dody Hanggodo revealed a number of toll road projects that are still under construction, such as Section 3B Toll Road, Section 3A and Section 1B in the IKN area.

"This year seems a bit difficult, that's it, (it's finished). Hopefully in 2026 or no later than 2027," said Dody in a Media Briefing at the PU Ministry office, Jakarta, Friday, October 31.

Dody also conveyed the progress of the construction of the VVIP airport in terms of the runway and access roads at IKN.

According to him, the construction has the potential to be completed next year, followed by the construction of the Karang Joang Toll Road.

"Later, what has not been completed will be done by the IKN Authority," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the IKN Authority, Basuki Hadimuljono, said that the development at IKN had entered a stage that could no longer be pushed back.

He argues that what is being built is not just a new city, but the future of Indonesia.

"We are at the point of no return. There is no doubt in building IKN," Basuki said as quoted from his written statement, Friday, October 31.

Adapun Otorita IKN telah mengantongi komitmen investasi sebesar Rp225,02 triliun selama satu tahun kepemimpinan Presiden Prabowo Subianto dan Wakil Presiden Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

Komitmen investasi tersebut datang dari skema investasi murni dan Kerjasama Pemerintah dan Badan Usaha (KPBU).

Rinciannya, investasi sebesar Rp66,3 triliun merupakan kucuran modal dari swasta murni dan Rp158,72 triliun melalui skema KPBU untuk mendukung pembangunan jalan dan multi-utility tunnel serta untuk pembangunan hunian di kawasan IKN.

The IKN Authority has pocketed an investment commitment of IDR 225.02 trillion during the one year leadership of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

The investment commitment comes from a pure investment scheme and Government and Business Entity Cooperation (PPP).

In detail, investment of IDR 66.3 trillion is a capital disbursement from the private sector purely and IDR 158.72 trillion through the KPBU scheme to support road construction and multi-utility tunnels as well as for residential development in the IKN area.
