The 10 Percent Etanol Fuel Implementation Program In Accordance With Asta Cita Prabowo

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga ensures that it will support government programs related to ethanol mixing as much as 10 percent into fuel.

Not without reason, this state-owned fuel distribution business entity has sold 5 percent of Ethanol mixed fuel named Pertamax Green 95.

"E10 must be supported by Pertamina because it is in accordance with the agenda of Asta Cita Presiden Prabowo and the government and fulfills the net zero roadmap as well," said Acting Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV Dumatubun to VOI, Friday, October 31.

Roberth said that his party was not worried about the marketing scheme for this new mixture of products because previously it had succeeded in selling Pertamax Green 95 at 163 gas stations on the island of Java.

Roberth also said that the sales figure of Pertamax Green 95 continued to increase from time to time. Currently, he said, Pertamina can even sell up to 110 KL of fuel per day.

"Pertamina is still selling Pertamax Green 95 with E5 content and consumption continues to increase," said Roberth.

Previously, the President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Mars Ega Legowo Putra said that by presenting fuel with ethanol content, namely Pertamax Green 95, Pertamina Patra Niaga not only followed global trends, but also strengthened Indonesia's position in the world's sustainable energy map.

"We understand that in marketing new variants it takes time to educate the public about the benefits of Bioethenol, in addition to the resulting emissions being more environmentally friendly, this product also has good acceleration characteristics", said Mars Ega Legowo Putra in a statement to the media, October 15, 2025.

Mars Ega menjelaskan, masyarakat tidak perlu khawatir terkait karakteristik dari bioetanol.

Pasalnya kandungan di Pertamax Series terdapat additive yang memiliki fungsi untuk corrosion inhibitor atau mengurangi efek korosi dan demulsifier atau mengurai kontaminasi air untuk mengantisipasi faktor-faktor yang dapat mengganggu performa mesin.

Mars Ega explained that the public does not need to worry about the characteristics of bioethenol.

Because the content in the Pertamax Series contains additives that have a function for corrosion inhibitors or reduce the effects of corrosion and demulifiers or unravel water contamination to anticipate factors that can interfere with engine performance.
