The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) invites the business world to join the Batch 2 Higher Education graduates apprenticeship program which prepares a quota of 80,000 participants.

Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Yassierli said active participation in the business world is needed to bridge the gap between the world of education and the world of work.

"Through internship programs, companies not only gain access to young talents, but also contribute directly to producing a generation of competent and global competitive workers," Yassierli said in an official statement, Thursday, October 30.

Yassierli said the National Internship program is part of a national strategy to accelerate the development of superior human resources (HR), adaptive to technological developments, and ready to face the challenges of the future industry.

"The company's contribution to this program is a real step in supporting Asta Cita, especially in realizing a sovereign, advanced, just and prosperous Indonesia," said Yassierli.

By being the organizer of the apprenticeship program, continued Yassierli, the company can directly foster university graduates to be ready to work according to industrial needs; and filter and at the same time assess the potential of the workforce before being permanently recruited.

"Other benefits, companies can reduce training costs; and improve the image of the company as a business actor who cares about national development," he said.

Yassierli explained that for six months, the interns will receive UMK equivalent pocket money through Himbara Bank, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan protection with fees borne by the government.

Separately, the Head of the Public Relations Bureau of the Sunar Ministry of Manampiar Sinaga conveyed that the company registration in the national batch 2 internship program was opened on October 24 and closed on November 5, 2025.
