Number Of Passengers From Badminton Until October 2025 Rose 6.3 Percent

JAKARTA - PT KCIC recorded an increase in the number of passengers on the HIGH Speed Train by 6.3 percent from January to October 2025 compared to the same period the previous year.

General Manager of KCIC Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunisa said this increase is proof that the public increasingly trusts the Fast Train service better as a fast, efficient and comfortable mode of reliable transportation.

"This increase in the number of passengers is proof that the public increasingly trusts the Fast Train service better as a fast and reliable mode of transportation for mobility between Jakarta and Bandung," Eva said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, October 30.

Over the first ten months of this year, servicePORTsh has served more than 5.1 million passengers, an increase from 4.8 million passengers in 2024 in the same period.

Cumulatively, since operating commercially in October 2023, badminton has served more than 12.2 million passengers.

The increase in the number of passengers was driven by a number of factors that showed the stronger public interest in telephone services.

Among them is the addition of the travel schedule to 62 trips per day, the presence of Karawang Station which adds to the departure and connectivity options between regions.

The increase in the number ofPORTed passengers is also supported by better intermodal connectivity at all stations.

Each taxi station is now connected to various modes of transportation such as LRT, feeder train, commuter train, bus, shuttle, taxis, to online transportation services that facilitate passenger mobility.
